Sometimes our reactions to present-day situations are shaped by experiences from our past. While EMDR is well known for helping individuals heal from trauma, it can also be beneficial for anyone who finds themselves feeling more anxious, emotional, overwhelmed, or reactive than a situation seems to warrant. Often, these responses are connected to experiences, beliefs, or memories that the brain has not fully processed. Whether you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or recurring patterns that leave you feeling stuck, therapy can help you understand the root of those struggles and move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.
My approach combines EMDR with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to process and heal the experiences that continue to influence the present, as well as provide practical tools to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and create healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. Together, these approaches help clients not only heal old wounds but also learn new ways of thinking, feeling, and living that align with the person they want to become.
I provide telehealth sessions throughout Florida and offer in-person sessions in Naples.
