We often hear that healing and growth are not linear. Working on ourselves and our relationships is an ongoing process filled with both progress and setbacks. Just when we think we’ve made it through the difficult moments, life reminds us of its unpredictability. If life is consistently inconsistent, how can we learn to adapt, cultivate acceptance, and reduce our suffering?
Our willingness to make changes can shift like the wind. When motivation and energy begin to fade, our confidence in ourselves—and sometimes in those around us—can fade as well. As fear, anxiety, sadness, or hopelessness take hold, even the simplest tasks can begin to feel overwhelming.
Are you ready to explore meaningful change? Are you interested in understanding the patterns of thinking, emotions, or behaviors that keep you feeling stuck? Would you like to improve your response to stress, strengthen your relationships, or heal from experiences that continue to affect your daily life?
I believe therapy should meet you where you are. I provide a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported while working toward meaningful and lasting change. Together, we identify underlying patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build insight to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use, and stress related to family, relationships, school, and work.
As both an LCSW and LCADC, I specialize in treating substance use disorders and understand the complex relationship between trauma, mental health, and addiction. I am EMDR-trained through EMDRIA and incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when appropriate to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop healthier, more adaptive ways of responding to life’s challenges. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for appropriate clients, integrating preparation, medicine sessions, and integration therapy to support healing from trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, and other treatment-resistant concerns.
In addition to my private practice, I work as a high school crisis and substance use counselor, giving me extensive experience supporting adolescents and collaborating closely with families. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, working toward recovery from substance use, or processing unresolved trauma, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can gain insight, build resilience, and create lasting change.
