At Lake Mary Counseling, I provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a clinically validated approach to treating trauma-related disorders and anxiety. EMDR is recognized by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), the American Psychiatric Association, and the World Health Organization for its effectiveness in helping individuals reduce psychological distress connected to trauma and adverse life experiences.
As an EMDRIA-trained clinician, I specialize in working with adults navigating the impact of PTSD, anxiety, and trauma-related symptoms. EMDR therapy helps the brain process unresolved experiences so they no longer trigger overwhelming emotional or physical reactions. This approach is particularly effective for those who have not achieved desired results through traditional talk therapy.
I offer in-person sessions in Central Florida at Lake Mary Counseling, as well as secure virtual therapy for clients located anywhere in Florida.
