Rebecca Tucker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor with over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families across outpatient, residential, and community-based settings. She is currently a Senior Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist at Lakeland Regional Health, where she delivers individual therapy to address mental health and substance use diagnoses, in addition to, mentoring and precepting psychiatry residents through clinical education and observation as GME Faculty member.
Rebecca earned both her Master of Social Work and dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Family & Child Sciences from Florida State University. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and integrates evidence-based practices to support emotional regulation, relational wellbeing, trauma recovery, and overall mental health stability. Her areas of clinical focus include co-occurring disorders, emotional dysregulation, and cultivating wellbeing. Rebecca integrates positive psychology techniques to encourage the focus of treatment on optimizing human functioning, giving less emphasis on pathologizing the individual’s she serves. Rebecca became EMDR trained through EMDRIA in 2026.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has served in leadership roles supervising multidisciplinary teams and providing guidance to emerging clinicians.
